The Strap Boutique takes all reasonable effort to ensure that any of our products do not infringe any patents, trademarks or copyrights. Any claims to the contrary will be considered and action taken as appropriate. The Strap Boutique owns full copyright 2010 - 2011 in respect of this on-line shop. No copying in any form in part or whole of the shop is permissible unless otherwise granted in writing by The Strap Boutique.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We currently offer a single payment provider that uses PayPal Express Checkout that will accept most credit /debit cards and you do not need a PayPal account. The Strap Boutique do not get to see your payment card details or are they stored on our servers - we are PCI compliant to the latest standards. No credit terms are available.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the unlikely case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please note that currently no VAT is applicable to purchases on this site..
Shipping And Handling
We send a notification of shipping via Email, any claim for non-arrival of goods must be advised ideally by Email within 30 days for letter post.
1st Class - Please note that 1st class letter post cannot be tracked unless you select the 'Recorded' option and as per Royal Mail guidelines is not considered missing until 15 working days have passed following dispatch. In order to pursue a claim against Royal Mail for missing parcels, we may request a signed 'Missing Parcel in Transit' declaration that the goods have not been received is retuned to The Strap Boutique before we process any refund / replacement.
Delivery Schedule
We endeavor to keep our product range in stock but allow 2-3 working days for dispatch. In some case, items may be unavailable and hence delivery may take longer, (see Back Orders).
No responsibility can be accepted for failure to meet a delivery date. There may be periods when the shop is closed to orders for example during holiday periods, these periods will be advertised on the shop in advance.
Back Orders
Out of stock items are automatically put on backorder but you can cancel a back order at any time for a full refund of the outstanding items. We do not charge any extra carriage for sending back orders out.
Credit Card Security
At the checkout stage, we will first take your address details . Then you will be transferred to the secure payment provider PayPal. We do not get to see your card details at any time for orders placed over the internet, only the payment service providers (PSP) do and they meet the latest PCI industry standards.
Guarantee
Although our Shoe Straps are designed to assist in keeping your shoes on, they are not a substitute for incorrectly fitting shoes; they must be used sensibly. It is recognised that our Shoe Straps may be used whilst under the influence of alcohol and assume that users will take due care and attention during these times. The purchaser can take certain precautions to maximise the life expectancy of the items purchased by following the instructions provided and taking care whilst using them. Our 12 month warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover problems such as stains or other accidental damage. Although we have designed the Shoe Straps not to damage shoes, we are not responsible for any marks or damage to the shoes the Shoe Straps are used on. Valid claims under our warranty will, at the discretion of The Strap Boutique, be refunded, repaired or replaced. Products should not be returned without first contacting The Strap Boutique, any return should quote proof of purchase (typically invoice number) and include a brief reason for return. The purchaser shall ensure that any returned goods are suitably packaged and carriage paid and include any associated parts.

Privacy Policy
The Strap Boutique do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy
Your rights as a consumer to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You may cancel an unwanted order in writing for a full refund within 7 days following the day of receipt of the goods purchased. Cancelled goods must be returned at the purchasers expense as soon an practicable following the notification of cancellation. Goods should be returned with their original packaging along with a copy of the invoice provided at the time of purchase.
Your statutory rights are not affected. Our aim is to provide excellent customer service, if you are not satisfied in the service provided, please contact us by email. We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all products described in this shop but minor variations in manufacture are possible. These variations are not intended to lessen the described performance of the product in anyway. The purchaser shall be entitled to return the product for a full refund if The Strap Boutique agrees that performance is not in accordance with that specified in the shop.
